My second son--Caleb Jefferson Steimle has been called to serve in the Leon, Mexico mission and will report to the MTC on December 31, 2008. This is a significant date because his father passed away that night. We are excited to send him on his way to serve the Lord. Isn't he a handsome boy?
His birth was unusual as the doctor reported because he was born with a knot in the umbilical chord which has been known to kill babies before they are born---so he has been watched by someone above since the time he was concieved.
Caleb started reading the Book of Mormon in Spanish since he took spanish in High School to help him get a head start.

I found your blog from your website. I hope you don't mind. Congratulations on the mission call. That is very exciting. It seems to be a common occurrence with your children. What a blessing to have such great kids!
I found your blog! How exciting for Caleb! How is he doing? That's interesting that he reported to the MTC on that date. The end of one journey and the beinning of another. You are a wonderful person!
