All we do for good in our lives adds to the world to make a difference. Many people think they cannot make a difference but they can. What ever good you do today, no matter how small it may seem contributes to the betterment of society.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said it so well:
“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
No matter what the world tells us about us and how we should feel towards others remember God's words:
John13:34 --A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Other wise words:
“The best antidote I know for worry is work. The best cure for weariness is the challenge of helping someone who is even more tired. One of the great ironies of life is this: He or she who serves almost always benefits more than he or she who is served.”
― Gordon B. Hinckley,
So the number goal for me this year is to serve others and cause good to happen in your circle of friends and family... Even the little things every day....
